It’s nearly Halloween! It’s time for costumes, ghosts, spooky movies, candy corn, and most importantly for the children out there, it’s time for trick or treating.

- Other Halloween activities include costume parties, parades, bonfires, haunted houses, and carving jack-o-lanterns from pumpkins.
The benefits for kids of celebrating Halloween:
- It teaches them social skills: a lot of children can be a little shy in social situations. Halloween is a fantastic opportunity to push them outside of their comfort zones. The costumes and candy will allow bashful kids to connect with friends and neighbors. For introverted kids, Halloween activities might be particularly beneficial.
- It teaches them good manners: They’re going to get plenty of practice saying please and thank you when they stop for treats at homes.
