Hi, my name is Karen Klein, mom of 3 children I love: 14^th and 10^th years old biological daughters and a 5 years old foster boy. 

Except my main occupation as a Kid matchmaker in kid toys and baby products, I have studied and worked as a NDFA therapist and been involved with autistic children and special needs in general.

I have been representing products for kids for the last 20 years but mainly dealing business to business (B2B) connecting between toy and baby products manufacturers from around the world (after full review and careful selection of course) to buyers around the globe (retail chains, distributors, importers) .

After reviewing hundreds of products for babies and kids of all ages, I have become very critical, both as a mom who believes in conscious parenting, quality time and quality in general, always looking for additional value, and as  a business woman looking for real value in the box and commercial price, affordable for parents but that also assures enough margin for the whole value chain!

I felt the need to communicate my knowledge and experience with parents and grandparents worldwide, open a new channel of communication (B2C) to help people purchase great gifts for their little ones.

Why? so many products do not pass the whole value chain all the way to families at home because of the selection process and the fact that everyone needs to earn on the way! Buyers need to be very selective because of limited space in the stores and because they need to show revenue. I felt too many times that the selection is not made based on quality or on what families will love and enjoy but on commercial decisions ( “what sells better or easier”, “bigger brands”, “famous licenses”…)

I feel I have the duty today to share with parents around the world the toys and baby products I find, usually products with great value that help kids development and not just provide fun!

I am a big believer in play, for children and families but also for adults among friends. I feel we get to know each other better through PLAY. I have learned important lessons about my own children while playing, about their dreams, what would they do if they could…what they wish to improve, what they hope for.

I love psychology and child development, self-improvement and parenting. I try in my blog to bring all those themes that are crucial for parents and close to my heart.
