I love quotes!

I use one at the beginning of every post!

When trying to understand why I love it so much, I think there are 2 main reason:

  • They help me say short and clear what I relate to or feel!
  • They are said by people we can all learn from, people who changed something in the world or made an impact in any kind of way.

It reminds me a bit of the elder’s wisdom! The wisdom that comes from older people that I can take and use for my own life…

Today, most of us do not live as before, in tribes, where elders passed the knowledge to younger generation…that’s too bad…

We need to learn all by ourselves, from zero! That is maybe one of the reasons why so many adults feel lonely and disconnected to their parenting instinct!

I will never forget a sentence my grandma (today 98 years old) told me few years ago… I told her how mad I was at my husband as he did not help me enough at home and forgets everything that he was supposed to do or buy…She said “let him come home, sit down, give him a great diner and hug him!”

Anyway, since I am a motivational quote lover, I decided to compile my top 25 parenting quotes, the ones I relate to…

and even add some of my own! Maybe one day, someone will use mine😊 (only once I changed the world!)

I decided not to categorize them since all are about parenting but rather, add something about the people who said them, to give credit to that person, and not just a name…
