I wish to concentrate today on the importance of activity books for toddlers.

Why?

Activity booklets for kids reinforce what children learn in kindergarten or at school but through fun…There are plenty of them in the market, about many different themes such as letters, numbers, colors, find the differences, stickers, coloring…for all ages usually from 4 years old and up to 7-8 years old.

I love them as they are cheap, easy to use, can be used for a short or longer time, at home or during travel.

You can remain nearby but do not have to sit down with her, as you have your own things to manage while at home. Many times, children need to feel we are nearby and that we are available if they need us but it is for their best interest (and yours as well ) to let them deal alone and allow them some independence.

Moreover, It allows a non-screen time that we always wish for!

But most importantly Activity booklets for kids enhance learning through play!

So your child does not feel bored but you know he is practicing important basics that will help him further. Practicing at home through fun will help him feel more confident at school.

I just bought some for my younger kids…My 6 years old boy practices letters, numbers… My 10 years old has a crossword puzzle and  word search booklet, always nearby so if she gets bored and has 10  free minutes before diner or after lunch, she can pick it up and progress at her own pace, while learning through play.

Even my 14 years old is joining to the coloring Mandela Activity booklet with me😊 . This is like a therapy for both of us…thanks to that little short creative activity, we both have few minutes to share, which is always appreciated, especially at this teenager age…

You can of course find printable and print at home if you have time to search but I personally prefer to have activity booklets ready around. Easier to manage when you are busy yourself.

Last reason I love Activity booklets for kids is that they fit in any bag for on the go, for a week-end, a picnic in the week-end or just going to the beach.
